Spring 2025 Inagural Cohort

Center for International Business Student Fellowship Program

The Center for International Business (CIB) Research Fellowship is a semester-long program designed to empower standout students with professional development, cultural engagement, and collaborative learning opportunities. This prestigious program highlights the CIB’s commitment to fostering our students' academic and personal growth.

As a Fellow, you’ll participate in:

  • Monthly Lunch Colloquiums: Engage in discussions on professional and personal development topics selected by the Fellows.
  • Research Project: Working closely with the CIB faculty mentors, students will engage in guided research, periodic progress reviews, and collaborative learning activities. The fellowship culminates in a formal presentation of their research at the Center for International Business annual academic conference held in late Spring.
  • Guest Speaker Seminars: Learn from industry leaders and experts in international business.
  • Podcast Project: Collaborate with fellow students to create a podcast episode on our International Business Podcast Gumbo of Opportunities, exploring international business topics or sharing your unique experiences.

Each Fellow will receive a $500 stipend at the end of the semester for their active participation. The program is led by Dr. Gustavo Barboza and Dr. Alessandro Braga who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to this unique opportunity.

Applications for the CIB Fellowship are by application and/or faculty nomination only. If you’re ready to expand your horizons and engage with an incredible community, this program is for you!

Applications to be a Fellow for Fall 2026 will be available in March. If you have any additional questions in the meantime, email Dr. Alessandro Braga abraga@loyno.edu.
